Our Mission
We are the Bee Team and we are dedicated to helping our native pollinators, more specifically native bees. We realize the vast beneficial impacts native bees have on our environment and are aware of their current state of steep decline. Our goal is to raise native bee population through education, awareness, data collection, engineering and design, and more.
The Problem
Native bee populations are declining faster than ever before. These bees are crucial to a healthy functioning ecosystem. With their population in decline, the future of our farms and ecosystems are uncertain.
Our Project
Our Bee Team is working to save bees through education and awareness. We made a survey to learn students' knowledge on native bees. We are also compiling a summer service project to help keep data on native bees. As well as engineering our own bee nesting boxes, we are planting native flowers to attract and support more native bees. We have many more ideas to implement as our project continues.
