Who We Are
We are a group of students at Mountain Heights Academy. We like to attend activities and help students feel connected to our school community.
What We Do
If you want to attend an activity, but are not sure you would have anyone to hang with, we are here to help! Submit a Buddy Ticket and one of the team will reach out to you beforehand and will meet you at the activity.
Why We Do It
We are here to build connections and foster a sense of community among the students at Mountain Heights Academy. The objective of this project is to reduce student suicide attempts and hospitalizations for mental health crises. We want to build a network of Buddy Bench members that support and engage with students throughout the school. We want students to engage with each other and help reduce the feelings of loneliness that lead to suicide.
